WHAT IS HEART FAILURE?
It is simply the inability of the heart that is unable to perform its function normally and ejection fraction of the heart. The ejection fraction is greater than 65%. Usually 70% is good ejection fraction. If it is 60% to 61% the heart is not suppose to be in failing stage. If it is 40 to 45% then heart is not functioning normal. It is usually responsive to positive inotropic drugs at least initially. When the failure is due to diastolic dysfunction it never responds optimally to positive inotropic drugs.
If there is increase in the volume overload then it may lead to heart failure. If there is increase in the volume so cardiac remodeling will occur in which hypertrophy of muscles occurs. Heart will adjust and change its shape, the muscles of heart will become weaker and all changes occur. This is known as cardiac remodeling which is occurs in the stressed myocardium. It may also include proliferation of connective tissue cells as well as abnormal myocardial cells. This condition begins when heart is in failing state. There is increase in blood volume and intestinal fluid in case of heart failure.
Congestive heart failure is a syndrome with multiple causes that may involve the right ventricle, the left ventricle or both. The cardiac output is usually at normal range when it comes to heart failure.
ACLS CERTIFICATION ONLINE TRAINING WITH REGARDS TO HEART FAILURE:
When studying for your ACLS Certification Online you will learn various algorithms. These ACLS algorithms will allow you to treat various medical emergency situations. After you study thoroughly for your ACLS certification you can take the exam to get certified online.
SYMPTOMS OF HEAR FAILURE:
The simple heart failure symptom is DYSPENIA. The primary signs and symptoms of all types of all types of congestive heart failure include:
Decreased exercise tolerance.
Shortness of breath.
Peripheral and pulmonary edema.
ACLS Certification Online, Causes of Heart Failure
CAUSES OF HEART FAILURE:
Usually causes of heart failure are:
Valvular heart disease
Congenital heart disease
TYPES OF HEART FAILURE:
The types of heart failure are left side heart failure and right side heart failure.
ACLS DRUGS TO TREAT HEART FAILURE:
ACLS Drugs that are given to treat heart failure are:
ACE AND ARB
These ACLS certification drugs are used in order to treat heart failure whether it is mild or severe. these drugs are also helpful to treat mild dyspenia.
